About Paul Longworth
Chef Owner | Rhubarb le Restaurant

In 2009, Paul established Oenotheque by Wine Universe, a Swiss wine bar/restaurant in Millenia Walk. As his first Head Chef role, it was an ideal chance for him to develop his style. During his time, Oenotheque made Tatler’s Best in Singapore list in 2011.

After about 2.5 years, Paul transitioned to Au Petit Salut, a renowned French cuisine establishment. While there, he built strong relationships with Alice Low-Ang (owner) and Jerome Desfond (restaurant manager). Towards the end of 2013, the trio explored the idea of launching a new, intimate restaurant concept. This envisioned restaurant would cater to individual preferences, offering a concise, seasonal menu alongside a carefully curated wine selection.

Rhubarb opened in 2014, within a mere two years of its establishment, Rhubard achieved a coveted Michelin 1-star rating in 2016, a recognition that has been consistently upheld since.
