World’s 50 Best Latin America #2 El Chato and 1 Michelin-star Art di Daniele Sperindio collaborate to present a gastronomic Four Hands dining experience, exclusively for OCBC Voyage Gourmet Experiences.

After 10 years of cooking professionally in renowned restaurants such as Per Se, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Noma, Chef Álvaro Clavijo returned to Colombia in 2017 to open his own restaurant El Chato in Bogota. El Chato is a modern contemporary Colombian gastro bistro that pays tribute to small artisanal producers, applying global techniques to highlight the very best of local ingredients.

Chef Daniele Sperindio, who holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, UK, has trained at some of the world’s best restaurants, such as 2 Michelin-star Narisawa in Tokyo, and 3 Michelin-star Alinea in Chicago. Chef Daniele started his journey in Singapore in 2018, and now is the Chef/Owner of 2 restaurants, Art di Daniele Sperindio, a 1 Michelin-star progressive Italian fine dining restaurant and Gambero Rosso’s “Ristorante dell’Anno” for Best Italian Restaurant in the World 2024, as well as GEMMA, an upscale Italian social dining restaurant.

Just for 2 nights, Chef Álvaro and Chef Daniele combine their culinary prowess to showcase a specially curated menu that highlights iconic Colombian and Italian flavours through the lens of both of these global nomads.
